Lake Randsfjorden has a unique stock of piscivorous char. The char feeds on smelt and whitefish and reaches sizes of 6-8 kilos. The ideal time for this fishing is on warm, quiet, sunny days in July-August. The best way to catch the char is by downrigging close to the bottom formations. This requires local knowledge. Our trips lasts for 4-8 hours and start off from Hov or Brandbu.
